Christmas Cocktail Hour: Egg Liqueur

This drink recipe is actually from my dad and a bestseller at any party my parents throw. It is very yummy and while the use of raw eggs might shock some it is really good and creamy.

If possible put it in a glass bottle and you can store it for quite a while thanks to the rum.

Egg Liqueur


  • 7 oz white rum
  • 7 oz whipping cream
  • 5 oz white sugar
  • 8 egg yolks
  • some vanilla flavor


  1. separate the eggs and whisk the yolk.
  2. Add the sugar and slowly whisk in the luqid ingredients.
  3. Add a couple of drops of vanilla flavor
